Cedefop oeganised its fourth webinar of the 'Ambassadors tackling early leaving from VET' network:
“Harnessing AI and digital technologies to empower young people at risk”
 11 March 2026 | 10:30–12:30 CET | Online

The webinar explored how artificial intelligence and digital technologies can help prevent early leaving from education and training and better support young people not in employment, education or training (NEETs). It was closely linked to Cedefop’s 2026 call for papers on Harnessing artificial intelligence and digital technologies for inclusive and resilient vocational education and training.

The recording of the webinar will soon be available.

The agenda and the concept note are available in the Downloads section below.

Participation was open to Cedefop’s  'Ambassadors tackling early leaving from VET' network:

Participants:

  • learned about Cedefop’s new call for papers and ways to contribute;
  • discussed opportunities and challenges of AI-enabled and digital approaches for inclusion;
  • exchanged experiences across countries and sectors;
  • got updates on Cedefop’s VET toolkits.

The webinar outcomes will feed into Cedefop’s ongoing work on inclusion, digital transformation and resilience in VET. Participant input is encouraged to help shape future activities and strengthen dialogue between research, policy and practice.

About the network
Established in 2017, Cedefop’s network of ambassadors brings together ambassadors from 23 European countries and EU-level experts. Members actively drive efforts to address early leaving from VET at national, regional and local levels, contribute to Cedefop’s VET toolkits, and share innovative practices, tools and evidence to better support young people at risk and NEETs.

If you wish to become an ambassador, you may apply here.
