- 2019: update of Cedefop European database of apprenticeship schemes
- 2020: synthesis report on how the coronavirus outbreak affected apprenticeships in the EU Member States, Iceland, Norway and the United Kingdom, and what are the steps taken to address the emerging challenges
- 2020: 21 short papers submitted by Community experts were included in the collective Cedefop publication on 'Apprenticeship governance and in-company training: where labour market and education meet' (published in September 2021).
- 2022: the collective publication Built to last: apprenticeship vision, purpose, and resilience in times of crisis presented short papers drafted by Community experts on these topics. To complement the country-specific angle, Cedefop developed a comparative, cross-scheme and cross-country analysis and shared its reflections.
- 2022: Community members explored how apprenticeships adjust to the green transition: from bottom-up grassroot initiatives, to strategies related to the green transition. Individuals articles on the topic are available online (2023).
- 2023/2024: new round of update of Cedefop European database of apprenticeship schemes
- 2024: the policy brief on Greening apprenticeships - from grassroot initiatives to comprehensive approaches provided an analysis of the 2022 individual papers and discussed what could enable apprenticeships maximise their impact in meeting the skill needs of the green transition
- 2025: the policy brief Boosting apprenticeships: incentives that work presents different approaches to providing incentives for learners and employers in apprenticeship across Europe. The brief draws from the collection of short papers from the Cedefop community of apprenticeship experts on Apprenticeships: incentives for employers and learners. The evidence presented, which is complemented by reflections on the suitability, effectiveness and sustainability of the selected instruments, will help policymakers to introduce better targeted and more effective incentives that benefit learners, employers and societies.
