Personal service workers

People working in this occupation provide personal services related to travel, housekeeping, catering and hospitality, hairdressing and beauty treatment, animal care grooming and training, etc. For people to competently undertake the tasks required of them in this occupation, they will usually need to have completed the first-stage of secondary education but in some instances they will need to have completed the second-stage of secondary education, perhaps by undertaking specialised vocational education and training. Jobs such as travel attendants, conductors and guides, cooks, waiters and bartenders, hairdressers and beauticians are included in this group.
