How do young people feel about their learning and employment prospects, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their studies and work, the war in Ukraine or their voices being heard during the European Year of Youth? Find out in Episode 5 of Cedefop’s Skillset and match podcast.

In this episode, we talked to #CedefopPhotoAward winners Carina Czako from Romania, Ben Wedemeyer from Germany, Dominik Zulj from Croatia and Eleni Fransisi from Greece. Aged between 18 and 22, they are starting out in life and, despite their different backgrounds, they have a lot in common.

The European Commission declared 2022 European Year of Youth to highlight the importance of Europe’s young people for building a better, greener, more inclusive and digital future. With plenty of opportunities to learn, share their vision, meet people and engage in activities all over Europe, this Year is, according to the organisers, the moment to move forward with confidence and hope to a post-pandemic recovery.

In this context, our guests discuss their learning and employment experiences, problems they have encountered, solutions they propose and their plans for the future.
