Participants at the upcoming Agora conference, Continuity, consolidation and change: Towards a European era of vocational education and training, (Thessaloniki, 16-17 March 2009), will discuss the results of Cedefop’s Policy Report of the same title that will be disseminated during the conference.
Topics include: the implementation of the European and national qualification frameworks and of systems for the validation of non-formal and informal learning; the promotion of quality and innovation in vocational education and training (VET); and improving links between VET and the labour market.
The conference, which is co-organised with the Czech Presidency of the European Union, will be opened by Commissioner Jn Figel' and the Ministers for Education of the Czech Republic and Greece.
