The present call for tenders aims to examine learner-centred approaches in teaching and learning in initial vocational education and training (IVET) and to develop a compilation of good examples of practice. In particular, it will explore in 15 selected Member States the different teaching and learning methods applied and how are these supported by learning materials and environments to best benefit learners. 10 case studies to be carried out on the basis of study visits in 5 different countries will allow for more in-depth analysis and empirical research. Special attention will be given to the relationship between learning outcome approaches to the design of VET provision in Europe and learner-centred pedagogies..
