Promoting lifelong learning of adults through CVET systems and upskilling pathways

The subject of this invitation to tender is to conclude two service contracts for the acquisition of services to develop two studies aimed at supporting lifelong learning through upskilling pathways and through the development of CVET systems that provide all individuals the opportunity to be and remain employable, manage transitions in the labour market and actively contribute to the well-being of society.

Lot 1 aims at identifying approaches/strategies leading, in the long-term, to CVET systems underpinned by learning conducive work environments and learning intensive working lives and by a shift in enterprises’ and people’s attitude and behaviour towards CVET.

Lot 2 addresses the development of systematic, coordinated and coherent approaches to lifelong skill development, upskilling and reskilling of low skilled adults through in-depth reviews of countries’ approach to the implementation of the Recommendation on Upskilling Pathways in two volunteer countries.

Information about the public opening of tenders

With reference to the COVID-19 outbreak and the public health medical emergency as well as Cedefop’s decision to close its premises as of 17 March, we kindly inform that the public opening of tenders may take place virtually and not in Cedefop’s premises as announced in the contract notice.  Tenderers that express their interest to participate in the virtual opening will receive further guidelines (details on how to express interest to attend the opening can be found in point 7 of the invitation to tender). 

Tenderers that will not be present at the virtual opening session but wish to be provided with the information announced during the public opening may send their request to C4T-Services@cedefop.europa.eu .
