Fishing

Agriculture, forestry and fishing is concerned with the exploitation of plant and animal resources. It includes: (a) growing crops, (b) the raising and breeding of animals, and (c) harvesting timber and other plants, animals or animal products from a farm or their natural habitats. The sector is divided between:

• crop and animal production, hunting and related service activities – which includes the production of crops and the production of animal products;
• forestry and logging – this includes the production of wood as well as the extraction and gathering of wild-growing, non-wood forest products.
• fishing and aquaculture – this includes fishing and aquaculture (both marine and freshwater).
