The aim of the Cedefop Research Arena (Cedra) is to develop new thinking about learning processes and methods relevant to adult learning in work environments. Cedra explores how learning can be integrated with everyday actions to foster organisational and social innovation. In particular, Cedra seeks to understand how one builds work organisations that continuously learn to be more productive, while the members of these organisations continuously develop themselves through their work. To carry out the above, Cedra forms small European research networks to engage in a European development work on a work related learning topic, which normally gives rise to a publication or a web-based resource.
