2006 - European Year for Workers Mobility

2006 has been designated the European Year of workers mobility. The Year aims to highlight the importance of mobility, the benefits it offers to workers and the economy, and the existing support instruments.

To stimulate the debate, the European Commission has established a dedicated website where users can find information on all activities and events organised in the framework of the Year, as well as updated news items, interviews with key stakeholders and facts and figures on mobility.
