Cedefop and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) are jointly organising a seminar, The role of social partners in continuing vocational training in Europe: reviewing practices and sharing challenges. The seminar will be held at Cedefop’s premises in Thessaloniki, Greece on 9 and 10 February 2009.
The seminar will discuss the results of a forthcoming joint study by Cedefop and Eurofound, The contribution of collective bargaining to the development of continuing vocational training (CVT) in Europe (EU 27 plus Norway). The working sessions will focus on providing a deeper understanding of the social partners current role and the challenges for continuing training provision in Europe.
