The latest report in Cedefop’s research series shows how vocational education and training help to sustain economic development, encourage innovation and productivity in companies, provide the skills that employers and employees need for economic development, and promote active ageing and social inclusion.
The report also analyses, from a research perspective, trends in the modernisation of vocational education and training such as improving the image and attractiveness of VET, developing qualifications systems and frameworks, professionalising VET teachers and trainers, and implementing lifelong guidance.
