Agenda for a sustainable and competitive European tourism / Communication from the Commission

The Agenda for a sustainable and competitive European tourism presented in this Communication fulfils a long-term commitment taken by the European Commission and further supported by the other European institutions.

It builds on the Tourism Sustainability Group report and on the results of the ensuing public consultation exercise. The agenda represents a further contribution to the implementation of the renewed Lisbon Strategy for Growth and Jobs and of the renewed Sustainable Development Strategy.
