How to translate European guidelines into regional policies? What role can European regional cooperation play?
These are questions debated at the conference jointly organised by Cedefop and Freref (Fondation des rgions europennes pour la recherche en education et en formation).
The conference focused on the strategic convergence of policies for European and regional lifelong learning policies. Although regions are aware of European guidelines and their relevance to regional issues, they do not use them as much as they could. The conference explored how European regional cooperation could overcome this problem.
