Refernet Southern Europe Regional Meeting On 7 and 8 February, the Direco Geral do Emprego e Relaes de Trabalho, coordinator of Refernet Portugal, held a regional meeting in Lisbon.
The list of participants included representatives of Cyprus, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy and Slovenia.
Programme included the introduction to the main role of Refernet for 2008-2011 in the framework of EU VET agenda; VET policies in Portugal; a visit to jointly-managed Vocational Training Centre for the building industry - CENFIC and finally a brainstorm on the following theme - Strategies, experiences, exchange of good practices for improving awareness raising at national better identifying/reaching VET national stakeholders.
Mr. Marc Willem, project manager and Mr. Christian F. Lettmayr, Cedefop's deputy director represented Cedefop.
