Protective services workers

People employed as protection workers safeguard individuals and property against fire and other hazards, maintain law and order and enforce laws and regulations, etc. They usually need to have completed the first-stage of secondary education but in some instances they will need to have completed the second-stage of secondary education, perhaps by undertaking specialised vocational education and training. The types of job in which protective services workers are employed includes firefighters, police officers, prison and security guards.
