This Sunday, 22 January, in Cannes, at the MIDEM (international market in music and music publishing), European Border Breakers Awards (EBBA) will be handed out for the third time.
These awards go to the artists whose debut albums have achieved the highest sales in the European Union outside their country of origin over the year. They are the fruit of a joint effort by the European Commission and the European music industry.
