Mendel University's Institute of Lifelong Learning in Brno, Czech Republic, organises an international scientific conference on lifelong learning assessment and quality increase within the European context (15 and 16 September at the university's congress centre in Křtiny, near Brno).

The conference is directed to university teachers, researchers, secondary school teachers, as well as postgraduates and professional public dealing with the fundamental issue. It aims to assess and discuss quality of education within the Czech Republic and European Union

Themes such as assessment and increasing of education quality at secondary schools, pedagogical and members of academic staff, further education and senior education will be the focus of the discussions.

The conference languages are Czech, Slovak and English. Its output will be the revieewed compilation of papers. Selected papers will be published in monographs.
