On the 23rd of November 2007 the European Congress on Vocational Training and Continuing Education of the West German Chamber of Crafts and Trade, financially aided by the European Union and the state of North-Rhine/Westphalia, will take place in Cologne, Congress-Centre-East. Outstanding speakers will be addressing the critical subject of "Securing the skilled personnel in medium-sized businesses crisis management to start today".

Among others, these are Mrs. Thoben, Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy of the state of North-Rhine/Westphalia, Mr. Rachel, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Director of the Institute of Labour Market- and Profession Research Dr. Walwei, Professor for Safety at Work Mr. Ylikoski from Finland and General Secretary of the Central Association of German Crafts and Trade (ZDH) Mr. Schleyer.

Their lectures will focus on the defiance the demographic changes is responsible presenting Good - Practice Examples from different countries to face the changes. The Congress addresses to the Multiples of training and continuing training in Europe. Three discussion forums will define solving strategies, especially for medium-sized businesses.
