GEANT2: World-beating Infrastructure for Research

GEANT is the worlds leading research and education network, employing state-of-the-art technology to provide advanced networking services to researchers across Europe. By the end of 2005 it will offer unlimited bandwidth to Europes researchers, creating a crucial infrastructure for Europes knowledge economy.
The GEANT2 network will connect 34 countries through 30 national research and education networks (NRENs).
