In this context, Cedefop is organising a joint event with eight other decentralised EU agencies working in the fields of education, business and innovation.
Cedefop’s Acting Director Christian Lettmayr (on the left) participates in a round table on ‘New jobs: the role of education and businesses’ with Members of the European Parliament, business representatives and other agency directors. The event also includes an ‘experimentarium’ with active visitor participation, a slide show and online presentations.
The week’s exhibition was formally opened on Tuesday 1 February by Maroš Šefčovič, European Commission Vice President, along with MEP Jutta Haug, Standing Rapporteur for the agencies in the Committee on Budgets of the European Parliament, and Jukka Takala of OSHA, doyen of the agencies’ directors.
