Moving Forward and Implementing a Long Term e-Skills Agenda in Europe

e-Skills are an essential tool in the implementation of the Lisbon agenda. As the Council of the European Union recently confirmed, new jobs depend on new ICT skills. As Member States move towards the development and implementation of their e-skills action plans, it is crucial that a close dialogue is held with industry to ensure they are put into practice effectively.

The aim of the conference is to facilitate the definition of the long term e-skills strategies in the Member States, determine "flagship" projects and exchange best practice.
