Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union

The European Parliament, the Council and the Commission solemnly proclaim the following text as the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union on 7 December 2000, and will replace it as from the date of entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon.
