The study has the following main objectives:
- to study in depth and present the trends on how qualifications regulate the labour markets;
- to analyse how changes in professions are defining and steering qualifications;
- to clarify the relationship between the Directive (2005/36 EC) on Recognition of professional qualifications, covering regulated professions, and the EQF (European Qualifications Framework).
