Cedefop’s RESET (REgional Skills EcosysTems index) is a new composite index designed to measure and compare skills ecosystems across 244 EU regions at NUTS2 level. By bringing together a broad range of indicators, it provides a holistic picture and unique comparative information on how skills are developed, demanded, matched and supported in Europe.

This regional skills intelligence can help policy makers, training providers and businesses identify skills gaps and make better use of workforce potential. It can also support more targeted policy action, investment and EU funding for skills development, VET and stronger regional skills ecosystems, in line with the priorities highlighted by the European Skills High Level Board.
