IVETA 2006

Russia as host country, is committed to the goals of promoting life-long learning and has both a lot to share in developing VET in a country stretching across both Europe and Asia, and a genuine interest in integrating in the international VET community and is thus a perfect location for discussing current problems, developments and concepts in Vocational Education and Training as part of life-long learning

Keynote speeches at the Conference will cover the following areas: 

• Life-long learning and barriers to learning;
• VET and adult education;
• Development of the concept of life-long learning;
• Quality assurance in VET;
• Building the National Qualification Framework;
• Internet and e-learning, etc. 

The 3-day conference programme will provide a mix of plenary, round table discussions and workshops along the lines of conference themes.
