As apprenticeships keep proving their attractiveness and their ability to facilitate labour market transitions, during their annual meeting, members of Cedefop’s Community of apprenticeship experts will identify research and analysis priorities to better inform policymakers.
Taking place on 6 October 2026, the annual meeting brings together researchers, academics, policy officers, social partner representatives, and independent experts to foster mutual learning and identify future research and analysis priorities.
Participants will share their perspectives on future research and analysis needs that will expand the evidence base on apprenticeships in Europe, with the objective of supporting policymakers in continuously enhancing their national schemes. The outcome of the discussion will set the research priorities and shape the work programme of Cedefop’s Community of Apprenticeship Experts for 2027.
During the event, participants will also be able to engage in peer learning activities and exchange of insights. This includes the possibility to participate in the 6th Policy Learning Forum dedicated to ‘’Quality apprenticeships through social dialogue’’ taking place on 7 October 2026, where experts will be able to exchange their views directly with policymakers.
