This research project funded by Leonardo da Vinci aims to provide information on how to improve the participation-rate of people with lower qualifications in continuing vocational education and training.
Research goals:
- Analysis of the motives and the obstacles to participation in Continuing VET encountered by employees with lower qualifications.
- Case studies of specific strategies of Continuing VET for employees with lower qualifications. Analysis of employers perspectives on the willingness employees with lower qualifications to participate in Continuing VET.
- Comparative analysis of the differing perspectives of employers and employees to participation in Continuing VET.
The final report has just been published.
