As part of the celebrations for Europe Day, on 8 May Cedefop opened its doors to senior high schools and universities of the greater Thessaloniki area, inviting around 300 pupils and students, along with their teachers and professors, to find out more about vocational education and training in the European Union.
Activities included a very popular Europass workshop which focused on how to create a European CV; a presentation and lively discussion on the future of skills and training, and on Cedefops contribution to the development of EU policy in this field; information on European mobility programmes (including a presentation of the Erasmus programme by the responsible national agency in Greece); guided tours of Cedefops library, the largest specialised information and documentation service on VET in Europe; and a quiz on European institutions and culture.
