On Wednesday, 1 October from 14:00-15:00 CET, the 2026 ReferNet draft workplan was presented within the frame of the informal consultation period with the ReferNet partners.

The design of the 2026 ReferNet workplan has been a collective exercise. This year we received an unprecedented 16 project proposals for inclusion, not only from Cedefop experts but, for the first time, also from ReferNet partners themselves. This strong interest demonstrates both the value of our network and our shared responsibility to manage it in the best possible way.

Following a thorough review, we selected proposals based on maturity, strategic importance, and potential to boost visibility, while ensuring sufficient flexibility for partners to manage tasks effectively and maintain our high standards in quality and timeliness.

The aim of this webinar was to present the adhoc activities of the 2026 ReferNet workplan and receive the feedback, suggestions and ideas of the ReferNet partners. This exercise which takes place in the framework of the informal consultation period helped us shape a workplan that strengthens ReferNet’s impact and supports meaningful engagement.
