Il Cedefop, in quanto Agenzia dell’Unione europea, possiede una propria personalità giuridica e può intrattenere rapporti contrattuali con persone, società e altre entità giuridiche. È pertanto soggetto alle disposizioni del regolamento finanziario applicabile al bilancio generale dell’Unione europea, del regolamento finanziario del Cedefop e delle pertinenti direttive UE sugli appalti per l’aggiudicazione di appalti pubblici e convenzioni di sovvenzioni, e opera in linea con i principi fondamentali di trasparenza, parità di trattamento e non discriminazione, più ampia concorrenza, proporzionalità e sana gestione finanziaria.
