Recognition of Prior Learning for the Construction Industry European Conference

APL-Bud is a two year Transfer of Innovation project, funded under the European Lifelong Learning programme, finishing October 2010.

The conference will present the APL-Bud project which has developed and tested methods and instruments to recognise construction workers competences and to validate prior learning, which may be the results of formal learning (in learning institutions), non-formal or informal learning at the workplace.

Recognition/validation of prior learning is closely linked to the recognition of qualifications and is of interest for:

• VET-policy at European and national levels
• impact on the European labour market
• labour, education and training in the construction industry.
