European Parliament report on the European Qualifications Framework

The EQF is intended to create a meta-framework fulfilling three functions. Firstly it should link national and sectoral qualifications frameworks, secondly it should ensure recognition, comparability and transferability of vocational and general educational qualifications and thirdly it should ensure greater transparency, permeability and mobility.
