Education, Youth and Culture Council

• the professional development of teachers and school leaders;
• The education of children with a migrant background, following a policy debate;
• developing the role of education in a fully-functioning knowledge triangle, in the context of the Lisbon strategy.

The Council will also adopt a contribution to the reflection on the post-2010 Lisbon Strategy, addressed to the December European Council .

Furthermore, the Council will hold a debate regarding the report on progress in quality assurance in higher education presented by the Commission
