The Universidade Aberta (UAb), public distance-teaching university, is hosting the 1st. Symposium on Distance Education in the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community in Lisbon, on October 30 and 31, in Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
The Symposium aims to create conditions for an extended debate which meet educational institutions, politicians, teachers and researchers around distance education within the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries and also aims to create an opportunity for the deepening of cooperation between these countries, in the field of education.
