The online platform www.koopolis.cz collects and presents high quality, up-to-date information on continuing education. Subtitled Education under one roof, the website is intended for all professionals in continuing education, from public administration, employment services and other educators to employers and NGOs.
Koopolis website has been developed within the Kooperace (Cooperation) project from the continuing education fund (FDV) and was completed in November 2015. The project delivered a comprehensive systemic view of continuing education under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MPSV). The main objectives were to collect, analyse and present information on further education in the Czech Republic.
Website design and content are both shaped by the users themselves, while data quality is ensured by website administration. Koopolis promotes cooperation, discussions and know-how sharing among professionals. It offers an extensive database of information: a map of State-promoted continuing education with its most important actors and instruments; legislation and national or regional strategies determining areas of continuing education; a directory of providers of further education; statistics and analyses; a calendar of events; and documents and publications. Koopolis also provides interaction and networking, up-to-date articles and expert opinions on important topics on continuing education
