Cedefop monitors and analyses progress towards achieving targets in vocational education and training (VET) that have been agreed within the process of European cooperation in VET since 2002 (known as Copenhagen process). The priorities of this cooperation were agreed by the European Commission, EU Member States, candidate countries and social partners. The targets were reaffirmed in the communiques of Maastricht (2004), Helsinki (2006), Bordeaux (2008) and Bruges (2010). The Riga Conclusions (2015) defined a new set of medium-term deliverables in the field of VET for the period 2015-20. The process continues with the post-2020 policy to be outlined in the upcoming Osnabruck Declaration. On this page, you can find material published by Cedefop in relation to this process.
