Improving competences for the 21st Century: An Agenda for European Cooperation on Schools

This staff working document complements the Communication Competences for the 21st Century: An Agenda for European Cooperation on Schools (COM(2008)425).

It presents a summary of the results of the public consultation, as well as (b) the theoretical and empirical evidence underlying the Communication.

The document makes reference to Cedefop's work on future skill needs and  learning outcomes.
