Guide to SME policy

99% of all European businesses are small and medium-sized enterprises, providing some 75 million jobs and accounting for more than 80% of employment in some sectors. SMEs are thus vital for Europe.

This is why the European Commission puts the needs of small businesses at the centre of its action for more growth and jobs. It has now created a new website dedicated to SMEs: A guide to SME policy.
