Optimizing learning processes through combining the concepts 'community of practice' and 'community of learners'

Educational reforms undertaken in the last decade have aimed at optimizing learning processes by better fulfilling the learning needs of youngsters. One way of doing this is to create communities of learners and stimulate students to participate in communities of practice.
