Employment Committee Informal Meeting - EMCO

The Employment Committee (EMCO) is an advisory committee set up to implement the European Employment Strategy and to promote coordination between Member States on employment and labour market policies.

The main function of EMCO is to carry out preparatory work for the EPSCO Council in the area of employment.

The issues for discussion by EMCO during the Cyprus Presidency will include the Employment Package, youth employment, the European Semester 2012 and the 2012 Annual Growth Survey.
