Conference on life-long learning and securing career paths

This conference offers an opportunity to identify the challenges that must be tackled by public policies in order to improve lifelong learning.

Lifelong learning is at the heart of the flexicurity principles adopted by the European Council in December 2007. These principles act as reference points in the national and European debates on labour and employment.

France would like to use its Presidency as an opportunity to improve our understanding of the role of training in securing professional transitions.
