    AI to Support Neurodivergent Learners in Vocational Education and Training AI

    AI (Artificial Intelligence) and other advanced technologies could support neurodivergent learners in VET (Vocational Education and Training) settings, including in work-based learning and apprenticeships, and the transition to work. This report explores the use of these technologies by learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia, and by teachers and trainers catering for diverse needs.

    Publicly available generative AI (GenAI) tools are rapidly emerging, and the release of iterative versions is outpacing the adaptation of national regulatory frameworks. The absence of national regulations on GenAI in most countries leaves the data privacy of users unprotected and educational institutions largely unprepared to validate the tools.
