Machine & plant operators

Machine and plant operators tend to work with industrial plant, machinery and equipment which is stationary and usually requires experience with, or an understanding of, the machinery/plant in question. Their jobs include detecting and correcting malfunctions, examining outputs for defects, and adjusting machine settings accordingly. Occupations in this group include, for example, miners and quarry workers, metal processing plant operators, rubber products machine operators, and food and related processing machine operators.
