Teaching basic skills: Digital skills

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission has published a new set of thematic guides for teaching basic skills. These guides support the European Commission’s Basic Skills Action Plan, and aim to boost teaching and learning, support educators and enable supportive environments.

According to the guide for teaching digital skills, those are crucial for personal development, social inclusion, active citizenship, and employability in an increasingly digitalised world.

The guide offers insights on key practices and whole-school approaches to develop an inclusive strategy for building digital skills.
