Refuse workers and other elementary workers
Other elementary workers collect, process and recycle garbage from buildings, yards, streets and other public places. They keep streets and other public places clean and tidy, deliver and carry messages, luggage and packages and perform odd jobs for private households or establishments. For people to competently undertake the tasks required in this occupation, they usually need to have completed primary education or the first stage of basic education. A short period of on-the-job training may be required for some jobs. Examples of jobs undertaken by those in this occupation include: garbage collectors; messengers; meter readers; etc.
