Impact on individuals and organisations
Based on the outcomes of recent studies on mobility in VET, about 77% of young people interviewed stated that its impact was high both at personal and professional levels. 98.4% recommended participation in learning mobility projects as a way to enhance cultural awareness and soft skills (team working, problem solving, international and multicultural attitude and skills) and 99.6% concluded their international traineeships with success.
Teachers and trainers were interviewed, with 92.5% declaring satisfaction in motivation, personal and professional development as well as creative mutual learning. The results of a study on sending and receiving organisations in mobility projects also noted the positive effects of Erasmus+ in VET. These organisations claimed that participation in transnational mobility helped them to import and export competences, good practices and new tools. There was also innovation in their organisational and managerial processes, opening up VET systems and fostering their European dimension, as an integral part of the future learning mobility projects in VET.
