To enhance qualifications of employees and executives in companies; strengthen their knowledge and capacities, as well as their abilities to adapt to the needs of the company and changes in the labour market.

Operation/management

The implementation of the projects is governed and supervised by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour and the ESF Agency in Lithuania.

Maximum amount that the company can receive: EUR 200 000 for 3 years.
De-minimis regulation is applied.

Allocation: The money is transferred to the employer upon execution of the training project (several payments possible). Companies best meeting pre-determined criteria (specified through top-down procedures) are funded.

Fees and other costs ( e.g. purchase of training services, salaries for the trainers and persons responsible for the organisation of CVT, costs of organisation of training events - seminars, workshops, etc., development of training materials)

In 2013, 2 246 companies received funding by the scheme. By this, the training of 38 000 employees was supported.
