Description
The catalogue “EDUC’ACTION” is meant to be used by facilitators - teachers in different subjects, as well as support professionals and youth workers, to support them in their everyday work with students and in their fight against early school leaving.
Some of the methods were tested through the experimentation phase of the project, while all of them have been selected by the partner organisations and collected by non-formal education experts and teachers. The methods in this catalogue have been tested at two different levels: via an international training for teachers and through local real school life environments in different countries.

Purpose of the toolkit
The general goal of this alternative tool is to enhance the capacities of the facilitators & teachers to stimulate active engagement and to maintain sustainable motivation for learning among students by applying non-formal education methods in a classroom environment.
This approach was possible thanks to a partnership between associations, municipalities, universities and schools where teachers and non-formal education experts worked together, leading innovation in their respective fields and collaborating at each step of the project.
Description of each of the tools
This toolkit contains several non-formal education methods that could be used in formal and non-formal settings. Each tool can be adapted to different disciplines. The experimentation made during the project was presented via an e-portfolio that brings together the experience of teachers and students using non-formal techniques at school system level.
