Short description

Companies in Lombardy Region can apply for co-funding for training costs. Vouchers are co-founded by ESF (50%), State (35%) and Region (15%). The eligible training depends on the specific call. Companies have to submit an application for a company training voucher for each individual course they intend to enrol their employees. Employees can benefit from one or more training courses, up to an overall value of EUR 2 000 on an annual basis. The maximum cost reimbursable to the company for the use of the courses differsaccording to the level of skills to be acquired.

Enterprise, cooperatives, self-employed persons working in Lombardy region while the target groups are workers with an open-ended or fixed-term employment contract; members-workers of cooperatives; owners and members of micro, small, medium and large enterprises; self-employed workers and freelancers. All of them must work in Lombardy. Apprentices, workers with intermittent employment contracts, trainees are excluded.

Depending on the Call. In one example it is possible to finance only the tuition of training courses selected within the regional Catalogue and made with reference to profiles and skills provided in the Regional Framework of Professional Standards of Lombardy (QRSP).

Financing formula and allocation mechanisms
Companies have to submit an application for a company training voucher for each individual course they intend to enrol their employees. The voucher requested must include the details of all the recipients enrolled in the course. The application for funding must be submitted exclusively online. Within and no later than 30 consecutive calendar days from the date of the grant award, the company must start attending the requested course. The contribution is paid to those admitted following the course and limited to workers who have completed at least 75% of the planned duration of the course, as reimbursement of the costs incurred by the company. The payment of the grant will be made within 60 calendar days from the date of the request, after verification of the documentation submitted. The documentation attached to the request for payment will be checked by a structure that is independent of those managing the Call in order to guarantee the separation of functions within the bodies involved in the management and control of Community programmes.
